The automatic voltage regulator (AVR) is an electric system that maintains steady voltage level of electrical equipment at the same load. The AVR controls voltage fluctuations to provide a steady, stable power supply. The voltage can be tapped, spiked or increased and electrical equipment can be destroyed without an automatic voltage regulator. AVR, therefore, has a servomechanism system inside it that searches for correct voltage when spikes arise in order to preserve the necessary voltage level that eventually protects your appliance.
